Got my concert tickets

Needed concert tickets for a show last week. Jumped on Traveloka, found them no problem. Price was okay. Got the e-tickets fast, worked fine at the venue. Easy peasy.

Good flight search, slow support

I booked an economy flight for a trip last month. The search function on Traveloka was pretty straightforward, and I found a decent price for a direct flight. The booking process itself went smoothly. My only minor issue was when I had a question about baggage allowance; it took a couple of days to get a clear answer from customer service. Overall, good value for the flight, but support could be quicker.

Consistent hotel bookings

This was my third time using Traveloka for a hotel. I booked a boutique hotel in Seattle for a weekend trip. Like my previous experiences, it was easy to find a good spot at a fair price. No surprises, which is what I like. The booking confirmation came quickly, and check-in at the hotel was seamless. They're reliable.

Flight and activities booking

I used Traveloka to book a multi-day tour and an economy flight for my vacation to California. The flight booking was quick, and I received the e-tickets almost immediately. For the tour, I found a good deal listed with clear inclusions and exclusions. I had a small hiccup when trying to link my tour booking to my calendar, but a quick chat with their online support cleared it up within an hour. The prices were competitive, and I felt confident with the security of my payment details. Everything was confirmed, and I received reminders closer to the travel date. It made planning pretty simple.

Just saw a pretty sweet deal for a flight to Miami pop up on Traveloka. Is it legit, or should I be worried about fake tickets? Never used them before.

A Amber Kim 3 months ago
Totally legit. I've used them for years for both flights and hotels, even international trips. Never had an issue with fake tickets or anything like that.

They're a big company, similar to Expedia or Booking.com. They operate in a lot of countries. You're good.

Hey, thinking of booking a hotel for spring break through Traveloka. When applying a discount code, can I stack a couple of them? Like, one for being a new user and another seasonal one?

E Emma V. 3 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one coupon per booking. I tried it last year for a flight and it only let me apply one.

Yeah, I think their policy is usually just one code. They have different terms for each coupon too, so definitely check that small print before you try to combine them.

What's the deal with payment options? Do they take PayPal or is it just credit cards for bookings?

S Sarah Ito 2 months ago
I've always used my credit card, but I'm pretty sure they have other options. I think I saw PayPal or something similar at checkout once.

They take a bunch of different payment methods, not just cards. I've used Google Pay through them before, so PayPal is probably an option too. Just check at the payment screen.

Has anyone booked a train ticket to Chicago through Traveloka recently? How long does it usually take for the e-ticket to show up after payment?

N Nick K. 3 months ago
Mine was almost instant for a bus ticket a few months ago. Like, within minutes it was in my email and in the app.

Can't speak for trains specifically, but I booked a flight from LAX and the confirmation was pretty quick, like 10-15 mins max. I'd imagine train tickets would be similar.
